Today, apparently, is Canadian Thanksgiving. It's basically the same thing as American Thanksgiving, having to do with someone discovering something or other and having a big feast to celebrate. I told Mason how thankful I am for him and promised that next year he could have some turkey. I summarized what I read on wikipedia about the history of Thanksgiving in Canada for him. I've only been to Canada once, but still.. he needs to know about these kinds of things. I mean really, if McCain's elected, we might be moving there. Anyway, Mason dressed up (and sat up!) for the occasion.
He ate a big meal, watched some Spongebob, and is now sleeping it off. Happy Thanksgiving, Canada.
