Our Fourth Fourth

Our Fourth of July was hot and BUSY.

We started off at the parade, where Mason made some sidewalk art and stood in awe of every single one of the fifty-five firetrucks that drove past.

Yes, I jumped out into the street to get his picture with Haylie, who was twirling her baton.

From there, we took a nap to get out of the heat, then headed to Brittany's for a cookout.  Mason was less interested in the food and more interested in attacking Grammy with his squirt gun.

He finally got her.

And me.

Then we left to cool off in the river.

And, of course, ended the day with some fireworks.

A very, very happy fourth of July, for sure.
