Mase got a butterfly growing (raising? farming?) kit for his birthday. We started with caterpillars, watched them make their cocoons, and then...
we had butterflies. Four of them. Francesco, Douglass, Vanessa, and Lightening McQueen. Mase took really good care of them, feeding them sugar water and flowers for a few days.
Today we decided they'd be happier if they were out of their tiny little cage and could fly around outside with all their butterfly friends. So Mase said goodbye and we let them fly.
