The Grumpiest Picnic Ever
My dad had a little Memorial Day picnic at his house - it was just me and Mase, David, Krissy, and Haylie, Elizabeth and Nichole and their boyfriends. There was grilling and volleyball and trampoline-jumping and I thought everyone was having a good time, until I came across this picture on my camera:

A Birthday Celebration
Mason's ABC party went fantastically. George made the cake, my dad grilled the burgers and brought the beer, and I spent way too much time making ABC pasta salad, party mix, and letter sandwiches. I didn't take enough pictures, but almost everyone I invited came: George's family, some of my best OG friends (and their babies) who I haven't seen in way too long, both sets of Mason's great-grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins.. everyone had an awesome time and we really couldn't have asked for a better day.

Two at the Zoo
Mason and I spent his second birthday together at the Detroit Zoo. My little baby, who, at eight months old sat silently in the stroller as I pushed him around the San Diego Zoo, couldn't have been happier to be in on all the action, shouting "PEACOCK!" and "ZEBBBA!" at every given opportunity.

Happy birthday, baby.

One.
May 24th, 2010.
It was a great last day to be a one-year-old: full of sunshine, duck-feeding, and Popsicle-eating.

Don't Worry, I'm Still Here...
I'm so behind on Mason's blog, I barely know where to start. In the past week, my baby turned two. We moved back to Pennsylvania. He's learned dozens of new words. He's speaking in sentences. We've fed ducks and gone to the zoo and visited every playground between PA and Michigan So much has happened.
We're home and we're happy and even though I've been missing for awhile, I'm okay. Here's to getting our (okay, my) life back on track. Here's to starting over...
